Fans of the Cardiff Devils ice hockey team are guaranteed to enjoy ‘off-piste’ celebrations this season thanks to a new partnership with the city’s apres-ski-inspired Heidi’s Bier Bar and more traditional Proud Mary Pub.
The agreement for the 24/25 season will see both venues become the official go-to places for Cardiff Devils’ supporters, featuring exclusive game day offers and fan events. And to celebrate the start of the Elite Ice Hockey League, Heidi’s on Mill Lane will host a Meet the Team evening on Monday 19 August from 6pm and under 18s are welcome until 9pm.
Todd Kelman, managing director for Cardiff Devils, said: “The players are excited for the Devils to be partnering with Heidi’s and Proud Mary this season. They are venues that they already love going to and when they have a night to hit the town, they are usually in one of these places.
The returning players took all the new guys to Heidi’s for their first Saturday night in town to show them the nightlife that Cardiff has to offer, and they all had a blast. We are looking forward to hosting some nights with our fans at these venues throughout the season, starting with Monday 19th August.”
Both venues have gathered a strong and loyal customer following and support local brands, businesses and musicians through their drink, entertainment and live music offerings.
