How to travel in luxury when in Wales

Wales, a land rich in history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes, may not be as well-equipped for luxury travel as its neighbouring countries, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the finer things in life while visiting this enchanting country. With a little creativity and resourcefulness, you can easily experience the luxury you crave while exploring the beauty and charm Wales has to offer. In this article, we will discuss various ways to travel in style and indulge in the comforts of business or luxury travel during your Welsh adventure.

    Consider using Bristol Airport

One way to begin your luxurious journey is by flying using Bristol Airport, either to fly out of or into. Its capacity is currently being expanded from 10 to 12 million passengers a year, along with recently opening two new executive lounges to add to its extensive list of complimentary food, drinks, charging points, and Wi-Fi options.

Cardiff and Swansea, by comparison, only have one airport lounge. Bristol airport is only an hour’s drive from Cardiff, with a taxi or private driver being a perfectly reasonable option. It’s also ideal to fly into because it’s so well connected and has a large fleet of hire cars.

    Charter a Plane

If you’re looking for an even more exclusive and tailored experience, consider chartering a private plane for your trip to Wales. Plane chartering platforms like JetApp allow you to bypass the crowded commercial flights and travel on your own schedule, providing you with the utmost privacy and flexibility. Plus, you can head straight to a private airport instead, which may be more convenient.

You’ll enjoy a luxurious experience from the moment you step on board, with comfortable seating, personalized service, and gourmet meals at your fingertips.

Make Use of Being on the Coast

Wales boasts an extensive coastline with stunning views and picturesque harbours. What better way to enjoy this natural beauty than by chartering a luxury yacht or boat? With both Swansea and Cardiff offering easy access to the coast, you can sail along the beautiful Welsh coastlines in style, exploring hidden coves, quaint fishing villages, and the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Chartering a boat allows you to create a bespoke itinerary, though it’s not always going to be viable for business trips.

    Experience Luxury Accommodation

While you may be travelling in style, your experience in Wales won’t be complete without indulging in some luxurious accommodation. From opulent country manors and historic castles to chic boutique hotels and elegant resorts, Wales offers a variety of high-end lodging options for the discerning traveller. These properties often feature sumptuous furnishings, fine dining, and top-notch amenities such as spas and private gardens, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in a world of comfort and extravagance.

    Final Word

While Wales may not have the same reputation for luxury as some of its neighbours, there are more than enough options to enjoy a lavish and memorable trip. You can create an indulgent experience that perfectly complements the natural beauty and rich history of Wales, all whilst remaining connected and convenient. And, if all else fails, head to Bristol or Birmingham nearby for more convenience.
