Krabi, located in Southern Thailand, is a province known for its dramatic limestone cliffs, crystal clear waters, and white sandy beaches. If you’re looking for a relaxing and picturesque vacation destination, Krabi should be at the top of your list. With plenty of activities to keep you busy during your stay, there’s something for everyone in Krabi. Here are some of the best things to do during your next visit.

    Try Island Hopping

It is fair to say that there are only so many things you can do in a resort town before it gets a bit boring unless you are just there to relax. That said, one fun activity you could do is island hopping. Many islands neighbor Krabi, such as Railay, Ao Nang, or Koh Lanta, which is only a boat or ferry ride away.

    Visit Railay Beach

As mentioned above, one place you could go when visiting Krabi Thailand would be Railay beach. It is probably one of the most amazing beaches in Thailand. You could do many things here, but best of all, you could relax while watching a beautiful sunset. If you’re up for an adventure, there are many caves to explore. If you feel like partying, you could visit Railay Beach West and get lost in the nightlife.

    Go Kayaking

Another activity would be kayaking. This activity is especially great if you have never done it before because you’ll get to do it surrounded by the amazing scenery of Koh Hong Island. This island is situated right in the middle of Than Bok Khorani National Park, and you might even stumble across the hidden lagoon in the center of the island.

    Try Rock Climbing

If being in the water isn’t really your cup of tea, there are plenty of activities to do on land, such as trying rock climbing. Where can you do this? In Railay, of course! This is very convenient, especially if you decide to visit there to see the beach. The best companies to go rock climbing with would be Hot Rocks or King Climbers, since they are not that expensive and very professional.

Buy From the Krabi Town Night Market

If you could spend hours shopping and love buying new things, the Krabi Town Night Market is definitely a place you should visit while in Krabi. Keep in mind that this night market occurs over the weekend, so you should definitely ensure you get the opportunity to do it. Another night market you should definitely visit is the Chao Fah Night Market, but there are also the Ao Nang Market and the Klong Muang Market.

    Go Scuba Diving

For those that enjoyed the idea of kayaking but want to get even closer to the action happening beneath the water, one of the best things you could do would be to go scuba diving. If you want to know the best place to go scuba diving, that would be on the west coast of Thailand at Koh Lanta. Another great spot would be at Koh Samui or Koh Tao.

    Get a Thai Massage

After a long day of adventuring, whether it be scuba diving or rock climbing, your body might need to unwind, and the best way to do that would be to get a Thai massage. It just so happens that the best place to get a massage would be Krabi, and better yet, you could get one while lounging on the beach, comfortably under a few palm trees.

    See Skull Island

Finally, the last thing you could do whilst visiting Krabi Thailand would be to see Skull Island. Skull Island is an interesting sight to see; better yet, if you enjoy kayaking, you could actually get there by taking a kayaking trip. Why is it named Skull Island? Because it’s an island that looks like a skull, there are even ladders that let you climb up the eye sockets and explore.
