    Eggs-tra Special Activities This Easter at Royal Mint!

    The Royal Mint Experience, located in Llantrisant, South Wales is set to host a series of eggs-tra special activities throughout the Easter holidays, from 22ndMarch – 8th April. 

    • Dinosaur Brick Building with Bricks McGee – Monday 25th March / Tuesday 26th March.
    • Dinosaur Shows and Meet and Greets with Dinomania – Thursday 4th April / Friday 5th April.
    • Visitors will also be able to strike their own Stegosaurus 50-pence coin.

    A drone show like no other at Cardiff Sophia Gardens

    Evolution, an epic drone light show which promises to take audiences on a mesmerising journey through time and space, comes to Cardiff Sophia Gardens on Friday 29th March 2024.

    For those keen to secure a ticket to this spellbinding show, early bird tickets of £14 per adult and £9 for children/concessions are available until 1st March at yuup.co/evolution

    Roxy Lanes Cardiff £5 bowling for kids all Easter

    Roxy Lanes will be offering kids £5 bowling, from 29th March – 14th April before 5pm, along with their brand-new ‘Mini Ballers’ menu, where kids can choose a main, side and soft drink for just £7.95.

    Into the Wild Orangutan

    Cardiff goes into the wild this Easter as animal trail comes to St David’s Cardiff

    Families can go wild this Easter by exploring a free brick model animal trail at St David’s Cardiff.

    Organised by FOR Cardiff for the duration of the Easter holidays (Monday, March 25 – Sunday, April 7), the ‘Into the Wild’ BRICKLIVE trail will feature wild animals built out of half a million toy bricks.

    Collect a free trail map and hat from the St David’s guest services desk on the upper level of the Grand Arcade.

    Free Easter Egg Trail Cardiff

    The Morgan Quarter is running its free Easter Egg Trail from Monday, March 25 to Sunday, March 31. The trail maps are available to collect from The Pen and Paper in Royal Arcade.

    Dino Takeover Cardiff’s Mermaid Quay

    A Dino Takeover is descending on Mermaid Quay Cardiff this Easter. From Saturday 23rd March to April 14th there are plenty of fun filled activities for the whole family to enjoy.

    There’s a chance to meet and greet Razor the Velociraptor, Nibbles the baby Tyrannosaurus Rex, and Boulder the Baby Ankylosaurus, throughout the day on Tuesday 2nd April, and Wednesday 3rd April.

    For those who want to get up close and person there are meet and greet sessions Thursday 4th April, and Friday 5th April, from 12pm to 4pm. Any young aspiring palaeontologists can participate in Palaeontology School, they’ll get digging for fossils and dino bones in a sand pit.

    Margam Park, Port Talbot have got some great free Easter activities for the family including:

    • pebble painting,
    • creating a chick facemask,
    • colouring a bookmark,
    • lots more arts and crafts.

    Bing and Flop coming to WWT Llanelli this Easter

    Bing and Flop from the multi-award-winning animated children’s television series will be coming to WWT Llanelli in a couple of weeks for the launch of ‘Bing’s Nature Explorers’ – a new joint event programme between WWT, the charity for wetlands and wildlife, and independent creative studio Acamar Films.

    Running from Saturday 23 March until Sunday 2 June, Bing’s Nature Explorers will encourage little and big explorers to discover and learn about wetland nature and wildlife through family-friendly activities.

    The Lion Inside at the Riverfront Theatre Newport 

    A brand-new stage adaptation of Rachel Bright and Jim Field’s best-selling children’s book, The Lion Inside, launches its world premiere tour this spring. Adapted and directed by Sarah Punshon with original music and lyrics by Eamonn O’Dwyer, The Lion Inside comes to Newport for the Easter holidays, playing at the Riverfront from Monday 25 to Wednesday 27 March, with 5 performances.
