2021 is a Year to Recover and Rebuild says Chambers Wales

2021 will be a year for businesses to recover and rebuild, says Chambers Wales, as it looks to the year ahead, after a challenging 2020 for businesses across the country.

Speaking about what’s on the horizon for Welsh businesses, Chambers Wales President Paul Slevin said: “2020 has certainly been a challenging year for individuals and businesses across Wales and indeed the rest of the world.

“While we are still very much gripped by the Covid-19 pandemic, with record case numbers here in Wales especially, there is hope as the first vaccine makes its way to our healthcare workers and the most vulnerable.

“What is clear is that this process will still take time, and it will still be some time before we return to ‘business as usual’.

“We fully recognise that there are existing as well as new challenges to come in 2021, especially for those businesses in Wales that trade internationally, but together, we will get through them.

“2021 is a time to recover and rebuild. Our focus will be, as it always has been, on supporting our members and facilitating their growth, whether that be here within Wales, the UK or internationally.”

Formerly known as the South and Mid Wales Chamber of Commerce, the organisation recently rebranded as Chambers Wales, with a renewed laser focus on supporting the changing needs of Welsh business. Chambers Wales brings together the best industry expertise and resources from around the world to enable Welsh businesses to grow and be heard.

Well respected globally for being the ‘go to’ organisation for trading overseas, Chambers Wales has been working to support their members through the changes set to affect internationally trading business across Wales and the rest of the UK from January 1. The Chamber curates end-to-end, tailor made international trading solutions for public and private sector businesses across Wales.
