Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board has confirmed that its mobile testing facility for residents who have symptoms of Covid-19 is moving.

The drive-through facility currently available at the Halo Swimming Pool on Marshfield Avenue in Pyle will close at 5pm today (Thursday 25 March) before relocating to the Richard Price Centre on Bettws Road, Llangeinor (CF32 8PF) tomorrow (Friday 26 March), where it will be available every day between 9am-5pm.

A walk-through testing facility also remains in place between 8am-8pm at the Bowls Hall car park off Bridgend Life Centre (CF31 4AH).

Booking for both facilities is essential and can be arranged by visiting the Welsh Government website or calling 119. People with hearing or speech difficulties can book an appointment by calling 18001119.

While the vaccination programme continues and infection rates continue to fall, we must all remain vigilant and continue to follow guidance and get tested.

Anyone who is showing symptoms of coronavirus – a persistent dry cough, high temperature or change in their sense of taste of smell – should arrange to have a test as soon as possible.

If you are symptomatic, please make sure you use these facilities and help to keep your community safe as we continue to fight the spread of Covid-19.
