A CHARITY wants you to put your best pup forward and join them on a 5k dog walk along the North Wales coast.

Heart North & Mid Wales is leading the appeal as part of the Make Some Noise campaign, helping youngsters and their families living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity.

The event takes place on Saturday August 4 from 10am, journeying from Porth Eirias on Colwyn Bay promenade to Rhos-on-Sea and back.

Popular radio presenters Lois and Oli from Heart’s Breakfast show, and Drivetime favourite Rachel will be in attendance with their dogs and are encouraging others to join them on the day.

Kristy John, Station Director, Heart North & Mid Wales, said:

“This is going to be a fabulous and fun event for dogs and their owners, so we hope to see lots of you there with your canine companions.
“Make Some Noise is a brilliant charity doing a lot of good work in the community, so please get involved and register today.”

Supported by Petplace, Abergele, the cost is £10 per dog, payable on the day.

However, you will need to register your attendance in advance at www.heart.co.uk/northwales.

All dogs will receive an exclusive bandana and goodie bag, as well as water and treats during the walk.

Sion Pritchard, Managing Director, petplace, said:

“Charity and community are really important to us, so we are happy to be supporting such a great cause involving our four-legged friends!”
