McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Bridgend will be broadening its fashion and menswear offering this month by welcoming Welsh-born brand Weekend Offender to the centre.  Founded in South Wales in 2004 by Sam Jones and Rhydian Powell, Weekend Offender has become a staple menswear brand, taking inspiration from subcultures past and present – such as football, music and film. Their range combines technical fabrics and clean utilitarian designs to create functional clothing with a rebellious twist.

Richard Garratt, Centre Manager commented: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming a leading local-born fashion brand to the center for our guests to enjoy ahead of Autumn/Winter shopping. Founded in nearby Merthyr Tydfil, Weekend Offender has a unique fashion-forward product offering which we know will appeal to our visitors and enhance the existing brand mix at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Bridgend.”

Sam Jones and Rhydian Powell, Weekend Offender Founders said: ‘We’re very excited to be opening our first retail store with McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Bridgend. The brand has been going from strength to strength over the past 5 years and we now feel we’re in a great position to introduce direct to consumer retail. Bridgend was always top of the list in terms of where to start, as the brand was born close by in Merthyr. We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome local people that helped grow the brand during our early years and continue to support us today.’
