If you’re looking for ways to keep the kids entertained this half-term then one of our venues or facilities might have the answer…

Here’s an idea of what’s happening  across Cardiff.

    HUBS & LIBRARIES

There’s lots of spooky goings on at our hubs and libraries over the half term holidays but there’s nothing to fear – just brace yourself for lots of fun in our free events including ‘Halloween at the Hub’, treasure hunts, pumpkin carving and many more activities throughout the week.

All the usual favourites will be taking place too like story times and rhyme times, Read Along Club, Craft Time and Lego Club.

Check out all the activities available at www.cardiffhubs.co.uk and remember you need to book your space at the activity you want to attend by calling your local hub.

    LLANOVER HALL

Mask-making, a Harry Potter themed ‘Clay Club,’ skeleton costume screen-printing, special Halloween Let’s Act sessions, and much more – it’s going to be a spook-tacular half-term at LLanover Hall.

    PARKS & PLAY AREAS

Cardiff’s parks always look fantastic in their autumn colours – and little explorers will love discovering the wildlife on their doorstep with one of our downloadable wildlife explorer trails: https://www.outdoorcardiff.com/trails-across-cardiff/walking-trails/wildlife-explorer-trails/

And if they need a change of pace, they’re sure to love the newly refurbished play areas at Caedelyn Park, Glenmount, Adamscroft, Pentwyn, and Llandaff Fields.
    CARDIFF BAY

A trip to Cardiff Bay is always an adventure, but why not download the Wallace & Gromit: Fix Up the City App to your smartphone and make it an Augmented Reality adventure?

Business tycoon Bernard Grubb has commissioned the famous duo to spruce up Cardiff in time for his festival. There’s absolutely heaps to do and all manner of contraptions to discover – including the colossal cleaning robot, ‘Big LAD’.

But help is at hand from BERYL, a fussy yet friendly Artificial Intelligence – perhaps she can help find Gromit, who appears to have gone walkies…
