    Energy Suppliers And Businesses

When you’re sorting out your energy supplier for your home, just jump on to a comparison site, check out the best option for your postcode and set up a tariff.

With businesses there’s a little more to it than that, you need to make sure that your energy suppliers are getting you the best possible deal and if they are not your business can be losing out on hundreds every month.

It’s important to have a supplier that you can trust and who will help you get the best rates, not get the best rates out of you.

Whether it’s your heating or water, you want to be able to know how much your bills are going to cost before they come in and ways to keep them down to avoid any nasty surprises.

So here are some of the key points to keep a lookout for when selecting bills from potential suppliers.

    Insight

First and foremost you’re going to want to know how much your energy suppliers are going to bill you on volumetric use throughout the month. Because of this, it’s always important to find a supplier that will help you get a smart meter fitted.

While it may not actually reduce your bills, you’ll know when you are overusing and need to pull back a little.

Don’t get a nasty shock when your energy bill comes around, stay on top of it throughout the month to make sure that it’s not being inflated due to wasteful consumption.

After a while with a smart meter, you’ll know exactly what to do to maintain steady bills and keep those monthly expenses consistent and manageable.

    Transparency

How much is it for water? How much is it for wastewater? Do I need all of these services? These are all questions that your supplier should be able to answer.

A comprehensive package for a small business where half of the services will not be needed is a waste of money. Likewise, insufficient supply for bigger businesses is not what you want, and in fact, could end up costing you much more in the long run.

Make sure that you are getting all of the services that you need and aren’t wasting money on irrelevant services.

If your supplier can’t clearly break down your bill cost by cost it may be time to switch to a more transparent supplier to make sure that you aren’t being overcharged.

    Support

How do you keep bills low? Good suppliers will offer some guidance on this, from handy tricks to energy-saving necessities.

If you feel like your suppliers aren’t offering help and just seek more money out of you, then it’s time to switch.

If it feels like they are getting more out of your tariff than you then they have to go. You should benefit equally from their services and support as they do from your money.

Business Energy Supply At A Glance

You need a supplier that has your back, offering insight into your consumption, support, and transparency into how they bill you.

Often you will get this from independent suppliers, like Castle Water, for example, an independent water and wastewater supplier.

It’s worth investing time into researching and enquiring about, as it could save you huge amounts for your business annually.
