After launching their Feed Families campaign for 2021, Bridgend-based Soft Services provider A&R Services set a target of feeding over 100 families this Christmas
Aimed at helping households in need across the whole of Wales, the ‘Feed Families’ campaign provided a festive food hamper to those who need it most during the holiday season.

With the help of local businesses and charities, this year’s appeal pledged to hit more than double the 35 families who received a hamper in 2020.

Job-losses, furlough, and the constant unknown surrounding COVID-19 has been extremely difficult for so many over the last 18 months.

This year’s appeal sees the business partnering with local charities and also allows local communities to nominate an individual or family who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The charities involved; include Latch Children’s Charity, Calon DVS, The Small Things, Port Talbot and Special Families Maesteg.
Ashley Davies, Co-founder of A&R Services said:

“‘After the success of our Feed Five Families campaign last year, we wanted 2021 to be an even bigger success and result in support for even more families right the way across Wales.’’

The support from these charities ensured that the donations were gong to those that needed it most within some of the most deprived areas of South Wales.

    Ashley added:

“We are delighted to have delivered 120 hampers. It continues to be a trying time for many families across Wales and we are extremely proud to have spread some much-needed Christmas cheer to those in need.”

Businesses across Wales pledged their support for the appeal include; Adcock, Rhino Doors, AMB Building Construction, Extra Scope, Einsinger, MJR Marketing, and My Big Green Fleet to name a few.
