As anyone who lives here will know, Wales is an exciting place to be. That is why it is a popular choice for so many tourists from all over the world who are looking for a holiday destination.

The big cities of modern-day Wales are home to brilliant nightlife, including clubs like Tiger Tiger and PRYZM in Cardiff. Not everyone wants to go clubbing on a night out though.

Gaming is also big these days and Wales has plenty of classy casinos that can be experienced. Here we will have a look at some of the best ones to play at.

Of course, we all lead busy lives these days and getting to one of these top venues is not always possible. If you can’t make it to your local casino, why not play at one of the fantastic live online casinos instead, details of which can be found at bestcasino.co.uk.

    Les Croupiers Casino

This is easily one of the finest casinos that can be found in Wales, and it is also among the biggest independent casinos in the whole of the UK. Les Croupiers is located directly across from the Cardiff City Stadium, on the outskirts of the town.

It is a well-established part of the city’s leisure and entertainment scene, having first opened its doors to the public all the way back in 1968. You would assume that a casino that has thrived for all those years would be something special and – in this case – you would be right.

Les Croupiers Casino has a vast array of games, including hundreds of the ever-popular slot machines. These feature standard jackpots of £10,000 as well as £12,000 progressive ones and the 94% return to player percentage is the best you can find at any casino in Wales.

Slots are not the only choice of game at Les Croupiers though, as you can also play table games like blackjack, craps, poker and three-card poker or give the roulette wheels a spin. The entire upper floor of the casino made up of a poker room, with tournament play on offer every day except Saturday.

The dress rules are fairly relaxed, with smart casual being perfectly acceptable, but membership of the casino is necessary before you can enter and start playing the games.

    Grosvenor Casino Cardiff

Another excellent Welsh Casino is the Grosvenor Casino Cardiff. The precise location of it is at Atlantic Wharf in Hemingway Road.

That perfect setting by the bay is just one reason why this is such a highly rated place to gamble, another is the superb games choice to be found there. The casino has lots of slot machines to pick from, with the highly rated titles Lucky Lady’s Charm and Cleopatra among them.

If you are not a fan of the slot machines, it does not matter, because they are just one of the gaming types that can be enjoyed at the Grosvenor Cardiff. Poker games and tournaments, as well as blackjack tables and roulette wheels are also available.

This casino is not just about the gaming though, it is an entire entertainment complex. Live sports events can be watched in a dedicated lounge area.

Then there is a restaurant and bar where you can take a break from the casino play to have something to eat or just a relaxing drink. Alternatively, you can just go there for the quality of the meals on the menu.

Again, there is no hard and fast dress code, as long as visitors are smartly attired.

    Grosvenor Casino Swansea

As befits one of the most successful UK gaming franchises, Grosvenor has a second casino in Wales – with this one being in Swansea. Situated at numbers 15 and 16 in the High Street, it is very centrally located and easy for new visitors to find.

When you set foot inside you will find a huge games selection, with blackjack, roulette, slot machines and poker being the dominant ones. The Grosvenor Swansea offers regular live poker games and tournaments that you can sign up for if you feel that you are skilled enough at the game.

The slots games have both regular, fixed jackpots and progressive ones – with the latter often reaching staggering sums before some lucky player wins them. Popular Mega Jackpot titles available to play include Siberian Storm and Wheel of Fortune.

Just as you would expect with a Grosvenor casino, its Swansea venue has great eating and drinking available, with a bar and a restaurant The latter has a main menu, an all-day one, a player’s menu and one specifically for desserts.

You can also choose to just visit the live sports lounge and watch the big match if you prefer, so there is something for everyone at the Grosvenor Casino Swansea.

In conclusion, Wales is home to casinos that comfortably rival those of any other part of the UK, particularly in its major cities. Why not check them out?
