A Cwmbran accountancy firm is capitalising on impressive growth by appointing nine new members of staff.

Green & Co, Accountants and Tax Advisors, are welcoming the new additions after consistent increases in client numbers and the development of new areas of practice. Joining the team are Charlie-Louise Preece, Bradie Hern, Deana Davies, Tracy Whittaker, Jessica Price, Michelle Pearce, Rhianna Parry, Tim Beckinsale and Victoria Fowler.

Ed Gooderham, Partner at Green & Co, said:

“The last few years have seen really encouraging signs of growth. Our traditional practice areas of general business and farming clients continue to thrive whilst we have extended our services to include the medical profession and health service providers.  This has allowed us to give tailored advice to businesses who need more specialist accounting and taxation services.

“The new starters, who all come from the local area, are a mix of qualified and trainee accountants and will work across all departments of the practice covering accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, taxation and client services.

“Since joining us, all nine new starters have already added value to the practice”, Mr Gooderham continued, “and seeing the team grow to a record number is incredibly satisfying. All our recruits come from the local area, which is a testament to the good work our local colleges, universities and employers do in preparing students for roles in the accountancy industry. To bring in this number of quality personnel is even more gratifying as we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, and I am confident our new team members will help to ensure our next 25 years are equally as successful.”

Green & Co specialise in business growth and tax minimisation for businesses across Wales and the South West of England.
