Fast-growing IT and Managed Service Provider Flotek has announced two new senior appointments, as the business accelerates its ambitious and robust growth strategy.

Founded in spring last year by entrepreneurial trio Jay Ball, Malcolm Holland and David Middleton, a series of five acquisitions, and a further two planned for Q1 2023, has seen the Flotek Group expand rapidly across the Wales and South West area.

Now, the appointments of Phillip Emanuel to Director of Telecom and Craig Jones to Director of IT, follow recent expansion of the senior team and reflect the success of Flotek’s commitment to customer service, bespoke and transparent contracts, and its complete IT and telecoms service offering. The pair have become shareholders in the Group and join Flotek’s board of directors.

Managing Director Malcolm Holland said: “We are delighted to appoint Phillip and Craig to the board, reflecting our strategic growth and enhancing our delivery of the service and expertise our customers deserve.

“Both Craig and Phill bring invaluable knowledge and experience, and I am confident they will play integral roles in driving Flotek forward as we help even more SMEs adopt innovative, next generation technologies and harness their scale-up potential.”

Phillip joined the Flotek Group in December last year following its acquisition of Cloud9ine Communicationsthat increased the Group’s expertise in large data cabling projects, cloud telephony and CCTV.

He said: “Joining the Flotek Group was a huge step forward for myself and the Cloud9ine team, expanding our services to provide IT and Cyber Security support to our clients and benefit from the shared knowledge amongst the wider business.

“I’m therefore extremely pleased to take on the role of Telecom Director. With more resource to support our customers, the latest technologies and the digital changeover driving the telecoms industry, there is much to be excited about in Flotek’s future.”

Said Craig, who joins after working alongside Flotek CEO Jay Ball as former Technical Director of DataKom: “Flotek has quickly established itself as a leader within the sector, offering SMEs a much simpler way of bringing together IT & Comms. I feel there’s a huge gap in the market for a customer focused service provider and we’re determined to help as many businesses as we can to simplify their technology needs.

“I am thrilled to have been appointed to Director of IT at Flotek, especially at such an exciting time for the business as our growth plans develop.”
