Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Parkside House Care Home in Penarth, Wales.

Established in 1987, Parkside House is a reputable, care home offering residential, dementia, and independent care for up to 35 residents. The business occupies a beautiful Victorian property ideally located in a conservation area set above Penarth Esplanade.

The founding owners recently decided to sell in order to retire and, following a confidential sales process with Christie & Co, Parkside House has been purchased by Serenity Healthcare Ltd. This is the third home the group has bought through Christie & Co, and it also marks its first residential dementia home.

Oliver McCarthy, Associate Director – Care at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “I am really pleased to have sold Parkside House to Serenity Healthcare Ltd – this is a great home that compliments their expanding portfolio in South Wales.

“The transactional care market in the Southwest and Wales was buoyant last year, and we’re seeing this continue in 2023, as buyer appetite remains high for a range of assets across the region.”

Parkside House Care Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
