DRS Facilities Management, a Swansea-based company that provides specialist engineering solutions to the facilities management sector, has appointed a new managing director.
[aoa id=”1″]Mark Phillips started his new role with DRS in July 2018. Originally from Swansea, he previously worked as project director at Honeywell, and boasts over 30 years’ experience in electrical, IT services and building services control. He is a qualified electrical engineer with a degree in IT and has worked across the UK providing expertise in IT infrastructure installations. His work spans from projects at Heathrow and Stanstead airports to one of the largest pharmaceutical projects in Europe. [/aoa]
DRS aims to expand its operations with its existing clients, as well as open up new markets and client opportunities. Phillips has been appointed to drive this initiative and take DRS to its next level of development, including to assist with the company’s growth prospects and to increase turnover. His role will also include enhancing the company’s image in its marketplace and increasing training opportunities within the firm.
Mark Phillips, newly appointed managing director at DRS Facilities Management, said:
“I’m thrilled to be joining DRS, particularly with there being so many opportunities for growth at the company. We recognise that we are within a changing marketplace and it’s my intention to ensure we keep up with customer requirements, while building a quality service and promoting initiatives that support the circular economy.
“Customer loyalty is one of DRS’ biggest assets and this proves that the company offers a consistent, positive service to its client base. The quality of the work locations and environments we are involved in is a priority for me and I look forward to moving ahead on the solid platform that the company has established for itself.”
