    Man arrested as police name Swansea murder victim

    South Wales Police are continuing to investigate the murder of a 61-year-old man in Orchard Court Swansea.

    He has been named as David Green. David’s family is being supported by specialist trained officers and they have expressed their wishes for privacy at this time.

    A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at Swansea Central police station.

    Detective Chief Inspector Matt Powell from the Major Crime Investigations Team, said: “I would like to thank members of the public who have already come forward to support the investigation.

    “We continue to appeal for witnesses who may have been with David, seen David, or have any information as to David’s whereabouts from Wednesday 5 April to Sunday 9 April 2023, including any arrangements to meet with David that he either failed to attend or cancelled.”
