There is also a killer bar offering American dining and a Roxy themed drinks menu that you can enjoy and soak up the atmosphere.

In addition to the bar area, a feature that the Roxy brand is known for, is plenty of seating dotted around the venue where you can order food and drink alongside playing games. Every inch of the former sports store has been maximised to give the best possible experience. Despite there be a lot going on, the venue doesn’t feel cramped and there is plenty of room to move around.

There is an exciting range of activities to get involved in, many of which are a first for Cardiff.

Just some of the games you can play on include:

    • Ten-pin bowling
    • Duck pin bowling
    • Ice-free curling
    • American pool
    • Air hockey
    • Karaoke (three rooms to choose from)
    • Arcade games
    • Basketball
    • Beer pong
    • Bank shot shuffleboard

Duck pin bowling is a speedier version of the classic game, where by players roll (or spin) a smaller ball without finger holes to knock down the pins. Sounds and looks easy? It will take some practice but that’s the fun of it.  Each player gets three rolls, rather than the traditional two.

A first for Cardiff as far as we know, Roxy Lanes has a batting cage that can be booked. You can choose to play cricket or baseball as your friends watch on from a safe distance.

If karaoke is more your thing, then you won’t be disappointed to learn there are three rooms to choose from where you can sing to your heart’s content. Each room is kitted out with high quality microphones and sound systems, where you can choose from thousands of songs. You can even order food and drinks directly to the rooms.
