Welsh tech firm Vindico offers first glimpse at the new branding that people will see on the side of the newly named Vindico Arena in Cardiff Bay.

The new branding, which will feature both externally, and internally throughout the venue, marks a significant milestone in the transformation of one of Cardiff’s most-loved venues – and home to the Cardiff Devils ice hockey team of the Elite Ice Hockey League.

A symbol of progress, collaboration, and boundless possibilities, the sleek and dynamic design encapsulates Vindico Arena’s commitment to pushing boundaries and embracing innovation.

“Vindico Arena’s new branding embodies the essence of progress, collaboration, cutting-edge solutions, and boundless possibilities,” says Rhys Perkins, Head of Partnerships at Vindico.

“It’s a visual representation of our commitment to growth, advancement, and the endless potential that lies ahead for the ice rink. The bold colours and modern design set the stage for an exciting future; one that helps optimise the arena experience for hockey fans, skaters, and visitors alike.”

Promising more than just a name on the side of an arena, Vindico has pledged that this deal will enhance the arena experience for visitors, ice hockey fans, and ice skaters, while providing a workspace for Vindico’s team, and a hub for fellow tech and innovation businesses.

“We’re not just putting our name on Vindico Arena, we’re creating a catalyst for growth in the tech and innovation sector, too.” Says Jo Polson, Managing Director at Vindico.

“We’re known for our cutting-edge solutions and forward-thinking mindset, and our aim is to transform the arena into a vibrant ecosystem that fosters collaboration, creativity, and breakthrough advancements.

“As our Cardiff HQ, we’re already beginning to invest in state-of-the-art facilities at our workspace to provide an inspiring environment for our team. With mix of collaborative working and cutting-edge technology, we’re creating a hub where our talented team can unleash their full potential and drive tech and innovation.

“Our commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond the name on the arena. We know the importance of community and collaboration, and we want our branding to signal to an exciting place for visitors, hockey fans, and ice-skating enthusiasts, while we also enhance the arena’s corporate offering through events that bring together tech startups, industry leaders, and aspiring entrepreneurs together under one roof. We’re all about establishing meaningful connections with the community and driving positive change.”

The new arena branding is expected to roll out from late Summer 2023, and will remain in place for the duration of Vindico’s initial five-year naming rights contract.
