McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Bridgend is pleased to announce that a new, global sportswear brand is set to bring its world-famous apparel, footwear and accessories to the Centre, with Puma opening the doors to its latest store on Thursday, August 24th.

The new store opening marks the brand’s first bricks-and-mortar location in Wales. Previously, local brand fans would have had to travel over an hour to the nearest Puma store at the Swindon Designer Outlet.

Occupying over 365 square metres, the newest addition to the Bridgend Designer Outlet is set to further strengthen the outlet’s premium sportswear offering, whilst also creating 15 full and part-time jobs, supporting the local economy.

Endorsed by celebrated faces across sports and culture including the likes of Usain Bolt, Neymar Jr. alongside Skepta and Jack Grealish, Puma is at the cutting edge of fashion and sports innovation. At launch, the new store will have over 400 product lines available for Centre guests to enjoy.

Visitors to the Bridgend Designer Outlet will be able to shop some of Puma’s most iconic styles, including the Court Star and Motorsport collections, whilst classics from the Essentials range for men and Women are sure to fly off the shelves.

Richard Garratt, Centre Manager at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Bridgend, said: “As part of our commitment to bringing a wide range of world-renowned brands to the Centre, we know our sportswear offering has always been hugely popular among our guests. Building upon our existing portfolio of brands, we are delighted to welcome Puma to the Bridgend Designer Outlet. The store looks absolutely fantastic, and we cannot wait for Centre visitors to explore it for themselves.”

Colette Hilton, Head of Retail and E-commerce Puma UK&I, said: “We look forward to welcoming all Bridgend Designer Outlet guests to our newest store in Wales. With an unrivalled product selection and an incredible team, visitors are sure to experience Puma at its finest.”

The brand-new Puma store at the Bridgend Designer Outlet is due to open to the public at 10am on August 24th, 2023. The store can be found at The Derwen, Bridgend CF32 9SU off Junction 36 of the M4. The opening hours will be in line with the Centre’s regular operation times, between 10am-8pm Mondays to Fridays, 10am – 7pm on Saturdays and 10am – 6pm on Sundays.
