    Cymru U21 squad announced for Lithuania qualifier and Morocco friendly

    ymru U21 head coach Matty Jones has announced his squad for the 2025 UEFA EURO Under-21 qualifier against Lithuania and friendly against Morocco.

    Jones has named three uncapped players in the squad for the first time, including Liverpool duo Terence Miles and Lewis Koumas and West Bromwich Albion defender Alex Williams.

    Luca Hoole returns after missing out in the last window through injury, while Ben Lloyd, Joel Colwill, Oliver Ewing and Pat Jones are the other changes to the squad from November’s matches.

    Cymru’s first game of the window sees them take on Lithuania in their penultimate home qualifier at Rodney Parade in Newport on Friday 22 March (6pm).

    A reduced squad will then make the trip to Antalya, Turkey as Jones’ side face Olympic Games bound Morocco U23 in a friendly on Tuesday 26 March (6pm).

    Cymru sit second in Group I after taking eight points from their opening five games of the qualifying campaign.

    Cymru U21: Ed BEACH (Gateshead – on loan from Chelsea), Evan WATTS (Swansea City), Matt BAKER (Newport County – on loan from Stoke City), Terence MILES (Liverpool), Luca HOOLE (Bristol Rovers), Jay WILLIAMS (Sutton United), Zac ASHWORTH (Bolton Wanderers – on loan from West Bromwich Albion), Owen BECK (Dundee FC – on loan from Liverpool), Tom DAVIES (Kilmarnock – on loan from Cardiff City), Fin STEVENS (Oxford United – on loan from Brentford), Alex WILLIAMS (West Bromwich Albion), Eli KING (Ross County – on loan from Cardiff City), Joel COTTERILL (Swansea City), Joel COLWILL (Cardiff City), Charlie CREW (Leeds United), Oli HAMMOND (Oldham Athletic), Ben LLOYD (Swansea City), Oliver EWING (Leicester City), Luke HARRIS (Exeter City – on loan from Fulham), Chris POPOV (Leicester City), Pat JONES (Huddersfield Town), Lewis KOUMAS (Liverpool), Cian ASHFORD (Cardiff City).
