Anticipation surrounding the Child of Wales Awards 2024 has received a boost as Route Media, a leading outdoor advertising company, has announced its partnership with the prestigious event. Scheduled to captivate audiences at the Swansea Arena on September 27, 2024, the awards aim to spotlight the remarkable achievements and resilience of young people across Wales, while also raising vital funds for the 2wish and Joseph’s Smile charities.

Route Media will bring its expertise to the fore, igniting excitement with the unveiling of an outdoor campaign valued at thousands of pounds. This collaboration marks a thrilling milestone as Route Media embarks on a mission to amplify the reach and impact of the Child of Wales Awards.

With nominations now officially open, the Child of Wales Awards invites the nation to celebrate the extraordinary endeavours of Welsh youth across 11 distinguished categories, ranging from personal courage and sporting prowess to community leadership and environmental stewardship.

The event also features partnerships with Trade Centre Wales, as Headline Sponsor, and Blue Tiger and DIY Kitchens as other major event partners, along with Print Sponsor Forrest Print.

Among the category sponsors lending their support are Ascona Group sponsoring the Bravery Award & Courageous Family, Thomas Carroll backing the Young Fundraiser category, Swansea Building Society supporting the Community Champion award, Gower College endorsing the Outstanding Charity category, Princes Gate sponsoring the Young Sporting Hero U13 award, Commonwealth Games Wales supporting the Young Sporting Hero Over 13 category, Westacres backing the Child of Courage U13 award, Mrs Bucket sponsoring the Young Leader category, Bluestone National Park Resorts endorsing the Environmental Champion award, and Owens Group supporting the Young Carer category.

Dean Jones, Sales and Marketing Director at Route Media, said:

“We’re delighted to help promote across Wales that nominations are now open, and all sponsors who are involved with The Child of Wales Awards will benefit from being part of an outdoor campaign worth thousands of pounds.”

Founder of the Child of Wales Awards, Blanche Sainsbury, added:

“Route Media’s involvement injects an unparalleled excitement into our campaign. Together, we’re poised to shine a spotlight on the incredible achievements of Welsh youth, fostering a sense of pride and inspiration throughout the nation.”
