Mermaid Quay is bringing a fantastic lineup of live music to the quayside throughout the month of August with the return of Summer Sessions.

Summer Sessions will see live acts take over the waterfront providing the perfect place to relax, enjoy food and drinks from the range of restaurants, bars, and cafés, and soak in the summer atmosphere.

The free events are child and dog friendly, and will this year see the addition of a silent disco for kids where they can dress up and learn dance routines, along with free face painting, ensuring a fun day out for the entire family.

The sessions will kick off on Thursday 1st August with acts such as Technicolour Choir, Orchestral Beats, and singer John Adams taking centre stage on the quayside throughout the month.

Becky Jones, Marketing Manager at Mermaid Quay said: “We are delighted to be able to host Summer Sessions at Mermaid Quay again this August. Our waterfront is the perfect place to relax on a summer’s day and with our lineup of live musical acts and our range of fantastic bars, restaurants and café’s, we couldn’t think of anywhere better to celebrate Summer with family and friends!”
