Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has been instructed to sell the former care home, St Teresa’s, in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire.

St Teresa’s is a former care home dating back to 1918 that comprises a modern extension connecting an impressive 27-bedroom property to a 14-bed convent and chapel.

The property sits on a 2.4-acre site in a prime residential location in the Welsh coastal town of Fishguard, with outstanding northwest-facing views of the harbour and local beach. The site also has a detached one-bedroom cottage and a three-bedroom bungalow with parking for approximately 20 cars and formal gardens to the side and rear.

Oliver McCarthy, Director – Care at Christie & Co, who is handling the sale, comments, “The availability of St Teresa’s represents an outstanding opportunity to re-establish this impressive property as a quality care home or a residential redevelopment opportunity given its prime location with commanding views of the harbour. Properties of this size and in this location are rare to market.”

The former St Teresa’s care home is on the market with an asking price of £750,000.
