Green Elevators Services Ltd., a leading lift service and maintenance company, has relocated to a larger office space to accommodate its rapid growth, following a series of successful contract wins supported by Business Wales.

With over a decade of experience in lift and elevator services, Green Elevators has built a strong reputation, largely driven by customer referrals across the UK. The company’s expansion became essential after a surge in business since 2022, following Sales and Marketing Director Richard Hughes’ engagement with Business Wales to refine the company’s tendering process.

By leveraging expert guidance from Business Wales, Green Elevators has tripled its tender success rate and expanded its team to over 30 full-time staff. This growth necessitated a move to a more spacious and strategically located office in Charnwood Park, Cardiff Bay.

The new two-storey premises are designed to enhance operational efficiency and customer service, featuring three dedicated storage facilities, two training rooms, and expanded workspace. The additional storage capacity, equipped with racking shelves, allows for better inventory management, enabling the company to complete repairs more efficiently and minimise delays.

Speaking at the launch of the new facility, Richard Hughes said: “With the increase in contracts and the rapid expansion of our team, we needed a larger office that could support our evolving needs. This new space not only provides the storage and training facilities required for our staff but also offers a more accessible location for our customers. We are excited to welcome existing partners and new clients to experience firsthand the improvements we have made to better support them.”

Business Wales Supply Chain Adviser Elgan Richards played a pivotal role in Green Elevators’ success, offering tailored support to enhance the company’s approach to supplier research and tender submissions. His guidance directly contributed to the company’s growing portfolio, which now includes prominent clients such as South Wales Police, Melin Homes, Trivallis, Lync Cymru, and GRAHAM Facilities Management.

Green Elevators’ expansion has not only solidified its reputation across South Wales but has also opened doors to new opportunities across both public and private sectors throughout the UK.

As part of their strategy to increase sales, Green Elevators has launched a new website, providing an accessible platform for potential clients to explore services and connect for future projects.

Elgan Richards commented on Green Elevators’ achievements: “Richard and his team were eager to refine their tendering process, and their dedication has truly paid off. Their ability to secure key contracts and invest in their operations has led to this significant milestone. The opening of their new office is a well-earned testament to their hard work and commitment to growth.”
