The internationally acclaimed Slava’s SnowShow is making its highly anticipated return to the UK this autumn, bringing its whirlwind of theatrical magic and whimsical mayhem to Cardiff’s New Theatre from 15–18 October 2025.

Following a triumphant return to UK stages last Christmas, this multi award-winning global phenomenon will once again sweep audiences off their feet with its unique blend of absurd comedy, poetic visuals, and awe-inspiring spectacle.

Described by The Standard as “a spectacle words cannot do justice… you will see nothing else like it onstage in your life,” Slava’s SnowShow is an unforgettable experience that transcends language, culture, and age.

Created by renowned Russian performance artist Slava Polunin, the show has been enchanting audiences for over 30 years, touring across the world with its charming cast of clowns who blur the line between fantasy and reality. Since its UK debut at the Edinburgh Festival in 1996, SnowShow has racked up more than 800 performances in the UK alone, reaching over 1 million spectators.

    Slava Polunin explains,

“SnowShow has been travelling the world every day for over 30 years. Clowning is much more than laughter—it’s about seeing life from a poetic perspective, finding joy and emotions in the simple, the absurd, and the unexpected. The UK has always embraced our poetic universe, and I can’t wait to see how new audiences react—and to welcome back familiar faces who saw SnowShow many years ago.”

This year’s UK tour kicks off in Sunderland before visiting cities including Brighton, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham, York, and of course, Cardiff.
