The Ospreys have received a warm welcome from Bridgend County Borough Council following the announcement that the Dunraven Brewery Field will host their home matches during their 2025-26 campaign.

The Brewery Field will provide the team with a temporary home while they continue to finalise a lease for St Helen’s Sports Ground in Swansea. It is hoped that the new ground will be ready for them in time for next year’s season.

“I am delighted to welcome the Ospreys back to Bridgend County Borough. They have a long association with the area and have played at the Brewery Field a number of times in the past, including their memorable European Challenge Cup win over Sale Sharks. “The Dunraven Brewery Field is a great choice as it will provide the team and fans alike with a base which lies at the very heart of the town centre. It has excellent facilities, ample parking and easy links to the M4 corridor and nearby train and bus stations, making it an ideal and easily accessible venue. “This move makes perfect sense, and I wish the Ospreys the very best of luck for the 2025-26 season.”

    Council Leader John Spanswick

“It is because we want to provide the best possible experience from day one that we have decided to play one season at the Dunraven Brewery Field in Bridgend while we get St Helen’s to the standards that Ospreys and our fans expect. “I’d like to personally thank Bridgend Ravens and Bridgend Council for being so accommodating in allowing us to play at Brewery Field this season.”

    Ospreys Chief Executive, Lance Bradley
