Nodor International Ltd, the company behind Winmau (official dartboard of the Professional Darts Corporation) and Red Dragon Darts, was formally presented with the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2024 this week at its Bridgend headquarters.

His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for Mid Glamorgan presented the award to Sam Bluck, who accepted it on behalf of Nodor during a special ceremony attended by employees and guests. The event included a flag-raising ceremony, symbolising the company’s achievement and commitment to continued growth.

The King’s Award recognises Nodor’s 325% export growth over six years, with its products now sold in more than 80 global markets.

    Managing Director Vince Bluck said:
“This award is a proud moment for our entire team in Bridgend. It recognises the world-class work happening here in South Wales – from innovation and design to customer service – and celebrates how we’ve taken that expertise to the world.”

Greg Nieuwenhuys, Chair of Nodor International, added:

“This award is a testament to the fantastic team and culture at Nodor. From our teams in Bridgend and the USA to our production facilities in Kenya, we deliver premium equipment and fun experiences to players in more than 80 countries every day. We are on a mission to make darts the most accessible and connected sport in the world.”

Guests at the event were given a tour of the Bridgend facility, seeing first-hand how the world’s leading darts manufacturer produces more than half a million bristle dartboards each year for players at every level — from local leagues to the PDC World Championship stage.
