Christmas at Bute Park is back for 2025, marking its fifth year as Wales’s favourite festive light trail. This year’s journey promises to be the most enchanting yet, with a mix of dazzling new features and much-loved favourites that will delight both first-time visitors and returning fans.

The newly released trail map gives a first look at what awaits:

    • Step through the hand-crafted Willow Arch, the grand entrance to this year’s spectacle.

    • Stroll along Crystal Avenue, where glittering chandeliers create a canopy of light above.

    • Enter the Kaleidoscope Tunnel, a dazzling passage of shifting colour and light.

    • Stop for a photo at the Rainbow Riot trees – a new must-see spot for your Christmas pictures.

    • Conclude the trail at Ice Fall, a frozen finale that promises a breathtaking ending.

Alongside these highlights, visitors can look forward to a host of immersive installations, each designed to spark wonder and joy.

One returning favourite is Dancing Dandelions, a glowing meadow of giant illuminated flowers that twirl and shimmer in the winter air. It’s a playful and heart-warming experience for all ages.

New for 2025 is Delilah Y Ddraig, a dramatic centrepiece celebrating Wales’s legendary dragon. Hidden deep within the park, this fiery display combines light, sound, and movement as Delilah roars to life, thrilling audiences with her dazzling presence.

Another addition is Bubbleicious, an interactive wonderland filled with floating, glowing bubbles. Designed with families in mind, it invites children and adults alike to play, pop, and marvel at the magic.

Tickets for Christmas at Bute Park 2025 are already on sale. Those booking before midnight on Tuesday can take advantage of an early-bird offer, with 20% off Peak, Standard, and Off-Peak tickets using the code BUTE20.

Whether it’s your first visit or an annual tradition, this year’s trail promises magical memories to last a lifetime.
