Back by popular demand, music legend and TV personality Martin Kemp is returning to South Wales this October with not one, but two massive 80s-themed shows.

Following a string of sold-out appearances across the UK, the Spandau Ballet star will bring his ‘80s Gold! The Ultimate 80s DJ Set’ to Swansea’s Patti Pavilion on Thursday 17 October, before heading to Tenby’s De Valence Pavilion on Friday 18 October.

Fans can expect an unforgettable night packed with the biggest hits of the decade, as Martin takes to the decks for a high-energy celebration of all things 80s. From Duran Duran and George Michael to Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, and of course Spandau Ballet, it’s the ultimate throwback party.

Martin said: “These shows will be a lot of fun and the ultimate return to the 80s. Music is everyone’s life soundtrack and transports us all to the best times of our lives – I think we all need that right now! Expect one of the most euphoric nights you’ve had since the 80s.”

His ‘80s Gold!’ nights have been a hit across the country, drawing rave reviews and huge crowds. The Express & Starcalled the show: “Fantastic… It could have been a school disco back in the 80s – with the added bonus of a bar and the man spinning the hits being a member of one of the biggest pop bands of that decade.”

Alongside his music career, Martin is well-known for his many TV and film roles, from The Krays and EastEnders to Gogglebox, Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls, and The Masked Singer. He also recently released his memoir ‘Ticket to the World: My 80s Story’, a nostalgic look back at the decade that defined him.

Fancy dress is encouraged, so get ready to dust off those shoulder pads, leg warmers, and neon accessories for the ultimate 80s night out.
