Powell Bespoke Interiors Ltd based at Brynmawr, South Wales are a furniture manufacturer specialising in high-quality fitted interiors and custom cabinetry. Combining state-of-the-art CNC machinery with traditional craftsmanship, the company designs, manufactures, and installs bespoke furniture including wardrobes and kitchens. Their focus is on precision, efficiency, and delivering exceptional results tailored to each client’s space.

With support from the Blaenau Gwent Business Development Grant, Powell Bespoke Interiors has invested in key equipment and infrastructure upgrades. These enhancements have transformed their workshop—streamlining production, improving efficiency, and elevating the quality of their finished products.

Rick Powell, Director of Powell Bespoke Interiors Ltd said ‘We’re proud to have invested in new equipment that allows us to work more efficiently, deliver an even higher standard of craftsmanship, and create a safer, more productive workplace. Thanks to this support, we’ve also been able to bring two new employees into the business, strengthening our team and creating local job opportunities. The grant has given us the tools to grow, take on more ambitious projects, and build a stronger future for Powell Bespoke Interiors’.

Councillor John Morgan, Cabinet Member – Place & Regeneration and Economic Development said, ‘It is great to hear that this investment has reduced outsourcing costs, increased capacity, and enabled the company to handle larger volumes of work safely and effectively, helping the business grow while creating a stronger foundation for future expansion’.
