BG Arts Library of Things has marked its first year with 101 borrows since launch.
The scheme lets local people borrow useful items instead of buying them, aiming to save money, cut waste and give access to equipment needed only occasionally.
Over the past year, users are estimated to have saved £5,375, with 34 items prevented from going to landfill. Borrowed items have been used for events including weddings and birthday parties, and by people trying new hobbies.
BG Arts is thanking people who have supported and used the service. It says each borrow encourages sharing, reuse and fewer unnecessary purchases.
The collection has recently grown to include a badge maker, a thermal label printer and a 4-litre urn.
BG Arts is inviting local people to browse the collection, suggest future items and register as members. More information is available on the BG Arts Library of Things website.
