As the festive season approaches, Cardiff Bay’s Tiger Yard has once again transformed into the Winter Wunder-Yard, a magical destination packed with indie street food, cocktails, curling, and more Christmas spirit than you could shake a candy cane at.

Whether you’re planning a night out with friends, a festive family day, or an office Christmas party, the Winter Wunder-Yard promises a unique blend of food, fun and festive flair.

And back by popular demand, the Tiger Yard Curling Club will feature 10 undercover dry ice curling lanes – custom-made especially for the venue, offering the ultimate winter activity for groups and families.

Guests can keep cosy whatever the weather with hot mulled wine, winter cocktail specials and draught beers all whilst exploring a seasonal menu of indulgent street food.

Resident Tiger Yard traders Dirty Bird, Fire & Flank, and Meating Point will be serving up mouth-watering festive specials alongside their usual favourites; notably, Fire & Flank recently earned national acclaim, picking up the award for UK’s best dish at the British Street Food Awards for their legendary beef strip steak served pink, with cheesy garlic mash and chimichurri.

The yard’s resident kitchens will also be joined by a rotating lineup of guest street food traders throughout the Christmas season.

New Bottomless Brunch offers will let guests add bottomless drinks and one festive street food dish from Tiger Yard’s traders – add a bottomless package on to a curling booking for a full afternoon of festive fun with the gang. Families can also enjoy a fun day on the (dry) ice with Family Curling, just £25 per lane all day Sunday, for up to two adults and four children.

James Mead, General Manager at Tiger Yard said: “We can’t wait to bring back the Winter Wunder-Yard for 2025. Every year it gets bigger, brighter and more festive – and this season promises our best mix yet of food, fun and Christmas cheer.”
