The M4 at Junction 37 in Pyle has fully reopened following an earlier collision that led to the road being closed in both directions.

South Wales Police confirmed the update after emergency services attended the scene and diversions were put in place for several hours.

During the incident, eastbound traffic was diverted via the A48, while westbound vehicles were able to rejoin the motorway at Junction 37 after the roundabout. Drivers were urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes while the closure remained in place.

The nature of the collision has not yet been confirmed, and there are no further details on any injuries at this stage.

Motorists travelling through the area are advised to allow extra time for their journeys as traffic returns to normal.
