Drivers are facing delays across parts of Cardiff and the M4 this morning as congestion builds on several key routes, according to Traffic Wales.

Heavy traffic is being reported on the A4232 northbound between Culverhouse Cross and Junction 33 Capel Llanilltern, with queues affecting motorists heading towards the M4.

Further delays are also being seen on the A470 southbound from Nantgarw towards Coryton, a route that is often busy during peak travel times.

Traffic Wales has also highlighted congestion on the M4 eastbound at Junction 33 Capel Llanilltern, particularly on the off slip, which is adding to slower journey times in the area.

Drivers are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys where possible and to consider alternative routes if travelling through these locations.
