Newport Bus will run a series of late night services to help music fans travel home safely during the Newport Music Trail later this month.
Five dedicated routes will operate on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 March, departing from Friars Walk Bus Station at 11.45pm, providing convenient transport to communities across the city after the event.
The additional services will cover a range of areas including Gaer, Pye Corner, Afon Village, Mount Pleasant and High Cross on Route 2. Route 9C will serve Alway, Ringland, Lliswerry and Glan Llyn, while Route 16C will run to Bettws with an extension to Malpas.
Route 29A will travel to St Julian’s and Caerleon, including Home Farm and College Glade, and Route 33 will serve Duffryn with an extension to Bassaleg at Laurel Road.
Newport Bus says the extra services are designed to make it easier for people attending the Newport Music Trail to enjoy the event and still have a safe and reliable journey home.

All services will depart from Friars Walk Bus Station at 11.45pm. Normal fares will apply, with a single ticket costing £2.50. Day, week and concessionary passes will also be valid.
