Thousands of food lovers are set to head to Cardiff Bay this summer as the popular Cardiff Food and Drink Festival returns for another three day celebration of food, drink and live entertainment.
Taking place from Friday 3 July to Sunday 5 July 2026 at Roald Dahl Plass, the free festival will once again transform the waterfront into a bustling hub packed with street food, local produce, craft stalls and live music.
Organisers have confirmed that a mix of returning favourites and new stallholders will be taking part, offering visitors the chance to sample everything from Welsh produce and artisan goods to international flavours from around the world.
The popular Street Food Piazza will feature a wide range of freshly prepared dishes, while the Producers Fair and Farmers Market will showcase quality local food and drink producers. Visitors will also be able to browse hand made products at the Crafters Market, curated by Craft*folk.
Alongside the food and drink offering, festivalgoers can expect a full programme of live music across all three days at the Bandstand, adding to the lively atmosphere that has made the event one of the highlights of Cardiff’s summer calendar.
Entry to the festival is free and no ticket is required.
Opening times for the festival are:
- Friday 3 July: 12pm to 10pm
- Saturday 4 July: 11am to 10pm
- Sunday 5 July: 11am to 7pm
The Street Food Piazza and bars will remain open until 10pm each evening, while the Farmers Market, Producers Fair and Crafters Market will close at 9pm. Trade stalls will close at 7pm.
More details on stallholders, traders and music acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
