Tiger Yard has unveiled its latest guest trader line-up for June – with three new street food traders joining the Cardiff Bay venue as it heads into one of its busiest summers yet. Located on the waterfront in Cardiff Bay, Tiger Yard has built a reputation as a go-to destination for independent street food, casual drinks and event-led weekends.

Joining the yard this month are Changs Wok, serving authentic Chinese-Malay wok dishes ‘inspired by the flavours of home’, and The Dough Thrower, known for award-winning firewood pizzas made with locally sourced ingredients, both available until 21st June. They are joined by Chow Cartel, serving their slow-cooked birria, Tex-Mex tacos, available until 28th June.

They join the venue’s resident trader line-up of Dirty Bird, Fire & Flank, Meating Point and Dough & Co, as Tiger Yardcontinues to build its Street Food Social offer; the venue’s regular weekend concept bringing together resident favourites and a rotating cast of guest kitchens. Street Food Social runs every Friday to Sunday, with walk-ins always welcome.

Alongside the food & drink offering, Tiger Yard is also gearing up for a packed summer events programme, led by Bingo Lingo’s summer residency, which begins on 19th June and runs through to 28th August.
Fitness fanatics will be pleased to see the fortnightly Tiger Yard Run Club taking off, with dates through June, July and August; as well as Pilates in the Yard sessions running across the summer months, in collaboration with Studio TARW.
Tiger Yard’s music and entertainment line-up will also bring eclectic run of live events to Cardiff Bay, including Shangri-La Presents: Dean Turnley, Shangri-La Presents: Omar+, Shangri-La Presents: Gaskin, the Magic Disco 80’s Tribute, the Back to the 90s Festival, the Outdoor Emo Festival, The Dualers, Country Club and the All Day Indie Festival.
Tom Symonds, Venue Manager at Tiger Yard, said: “Summer is when Tiger Yard really comes into its own, and we’re excited to be bringing in another brilliant mix of independent guest traders for June. Alongside the food, we’ve got a huge summer ahead on the events side – from fitness sessions and social weekends to live music and Bingo Lingo taking over for the summer. There’s a real buzz around Cardiff Bay this time of year.”
