    Super Furry Animals make history with first full live performance of Mwng

    Super Furry Animals made history at TK Maxx presents Live At Llangollen Pavilion on Thursday night by performing their groundbreaking Welsh language album Mwng in full for the very first time.

    Thousands of fans gathered for the landmark show as the Welsh music legends delivered a unique performance celebrating one of the band’s most acclaimed records.

    The opening half of the concert saw the stage transformed into a striking black and white setting as Super Furry Animals performed Mwng from start to finish. The set featured fan favourites including Ymaelodi Â’r Ymylon, Y Teimlad, Sarn Halen and Gwreiddiau Dwfn / Mawrth Oer Ar Y Blaned Neifion.

    Following the historic performance, the stage burst into colour for a second set celebrating the band’s career. Fans were treated to a string of well known hits including Hello Sunshine, Northern Lites, Demons, God! Show Me Magic and Mountain People.

    The evening ended with the return of the band’s iconic yeti costumes during a triumphant performance of The Man Don’t Give A F***, with thousands of fans singing along to bring the historic night to a close.

    Support came from fellow Welsh acts Panic Shack and Melin Melyn, completing a celebration of Welsh music at one of the country’s most distinctive and historic live music venues.

    TK Maxx presents Live At Llangollen Pavilion 2026 continues on Friday, 3 July, with Bowling For Soup and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, joined by American Hi-Fi.

    • Friday, 3 July: Bowling For Soup + Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls + American Hi-Fi
    • Saturday, 4 July: Deacon Blue + Lightning Seeds
    • Sunday, 5 July: Tom Grennan + Brooke Combe + Fiona Lee
