Thousands of visitors are expected to flock to Swansea Bay later this month as the Wales Airshow returns with two days of spectacular flying displays and family entertainment.
Taking place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July, the free event, presented by Swansea Council, will once again transform Swansea Bay into a natural amphitheatre, with a packed programme of aerial displays and attractions along the promenade.
Among the headline acts is the RAF Typhoon, the fourth generation multi role fighter aircraft capable of operating in high intensity conflict. Its appearance at this year’s event is being supported by Bassetts Motor Group.
The RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will also return, featuring the C47 Dakota flying alongside the iconic Spitfire and Hurricane. The Dakota is regarded as one of the most successful military transport aircraft designs in history.

- Rolls Royce Spitfire PS853
- Firebirds Display Team
- Jet Pitts
- Gazelle Squadron
- Navy Wings, featuring the Fairey Swordfish and Westland Wasp
- AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers
- OTTO the Schweizer 300C helicopter
Away from the skies, Swansea Promenade will host a wide range of attractions from 10am on both days.
Visitors can enjoy interactive displays, live music, demonstrations, themed entertainers, funfair rides, virtual reality experiences, and a variety of food and drink stalls.
The celebrations will continue into Saturday evening with Wales Airshow Afterburn.

The Wales Airshow attracts more than 200,000 visitors each year, providing a significant boost to local businesses while showcasing Swansea Bay as one of the UK’s leading event destinations.
Organisers are encouraging visitors to plan their journeys in advance. Information about travel, parking, the flying programme and the premium Flight Deck viewing area, delivered in partnership with Cardiff Airport, is available on the official Wales Airshow website.
The Flight Deck offers a dedicated viewing area with comfortable seating for those looking to enhance their airshow experience.
