Hollywood legend Michael Douglas will bring a one night only live show to Swansea Building Society Arena this autumn, giving audiences a rare insight into his extraordinary life and career.
The Oscar winning actor will appear at the venue on Monday, 26 October 2026, sharing the full and uncensored story behind one of Hollywood’s most remarkable careers.
Known for starring in some of cinema’s biggest films, including Wall Street, Basic Instinct, Ant-Man and Fatal Attraction, Douglas will reveal behind the scenes stories featuring some of the biggest names in the film industry. Many of the stories have never been shared publicly before, with the evening promising plenty of humour alongside candid reflections on his life.
The show coincides with the release of his highly anticipated memoir, One Helluva Ride, which is due to be published in early October 2026.
Appearing live on stage with a special guest host, Douglas will discuss his turbulent first marriage, infidelity and affairs with some of Hollywood’s most famous actresses, his struggles with alcohol, drugs and rehabilitation, and the battle to save his son from addiction after he was sent to prison for several years.
He will also speak openly about overcoming stage IV cancer against the odds.
The show promises to explore the man behind the movie star, from growing up in the shadow of his father’s legacy and being dismissed early in his career as “just a TV actor”, to winning an Academy Award as a first time producer at the age of 31 and becoming one of the world’s biggest film stars.
Every ticket purchased includes a hardback copy of One Helluva Ride, which has a recommended retail price of £25.
