Renewable energy firm, Rawson Solar has completed on its largest solar panel installation to date — also believed to be the largest single rooftop solar installation in Wales, a 2-megawatt system for Net World Sports in Wrexham.
Following a three-stage installation, approximately 4,700 panels have now been installed, enough to power over 600 houses.
The installation has also been futureproofed by installing hybrid inverters in temperature-controlled containers, making the system battery ready, providing even more power through the night.
Rawson Solar is known for its large-scale solar installations, supplying homes and commercial businesses across the country with a range of renewable energy solutions.
The company is thought to have helped offset millions of tonnes in CO2 emissions since in began trading in 2020, also delivering financial savings, carbon reductions and energy independence for its customers.

What’s more, the company plans to take on more apprentices by the end of 2026, growing its existing 14-strong Wales-based workforce.
