LEADING Wales racing driving pair Rhys Lloyd and Harri Reynolds are set to add their motorsport sparkle when they appear at Pembrey with their Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo2.
The drivers will make guest appearances with their supercar at this year’s Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival.
The Pembrey ring road comes alive on Sunday, September 13, for the third year of the motorsport event that has quickly become one of the highlights of the south Wales motoring calendar.
Welsh driver Rhys Lloyd and Harri Reynolds will be at the Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival in Pembrey next month (September 13)
The one-day festival brings together an impressive mix of rare and unusual supercars, hyper cars, classic car collections and machines from all over the world of motorsport, all gathered at the home of Welsh racing.
And there won’t just be stationary exhibitions here as the day includes exhibition runs on the track, with the chance for fans to have a lap as a passenger in some of the cars in question.
Away from the ring road, the paddock will host live music, driver interviews and a Concours d’elegance competition, with VIP guests voting for the best vehicle on site.
According to the organisers, the event has grown significantly since its launch in 2024, and this year’s festival promises to be the biggest yet, with dedicated zones for supercars and hyper cars alongside the classic car and motorsport displays.
The festival is family friendly and dog friendly. Children aged 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult, and obedient dogs are welcome on a lead all day. Camping is available for those who want to make a weekend of it, although a separate entry ticket is required to enter the ring road itself.
Among those expected in Pembrey are celebrated Wales racing drivers, Rhys Lloyd and Harri Reynolds, who will bring their Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo2 to the ring road straight after a season competing at the highest level of European GT racing.
Both drivers, based in Carmarthen and Narberth, race for Circuit Toys in partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing France, enter Pembrey 2026 on the back of a string of strong results.
In January the pair were part of the four-man crew that brought the Supra home third in their class at the Dubai 24 Hours. The event, one of the toughest endurance races on the international calendar, is held over more than fourteen hours of darkness at the Dubai Autodrome.
That result gave the Welshmen the platform to take their partnership to the Championnat de France FFSA GT — GT4 France, one of Europe’s most competitive national GT4 series, competing in rounds on some of the most iconic circuit roads in France and Belgium.
The campaign has offered further highlights, including a strong result at Dijon-Prenois, where the Welsh pair battled to the front of the field, and a solid points-winning performance at Spa-Francorchamps, home of the legendary Spa 24 Hours.
Speaking earlier this year, Reynolds, from Narberth, said: “The experience we built together in Dubai carried over to our European campaign.” Lloyd, from Carmarthen, described his return to the Toyota Supra GT4 as: “One of the highlights of his season” after a year away from racing.
For visitors in Pembrokeshire, it will be a rare opportunity to get up close to a car that has competed on some of Europe’s biggest motorsport stages – and to hear directly from two Welsh drivers who are making their mark far beyond the borders of Wales.
Tickets for the Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival, along with full details about camping and the event, are now available via the Pembrey Circuit website.
