South Wales Police is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of a road traffic collision in Penarth Road, Cardiff, on Friday evening (September 4).
Police were called to a report on a collision involving a car and e-bike near Costa at around 7.40pm.
Two 16-year-old boys from Riverside, believed to be riding the bike, were treated at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
A 19-year-old man from Grangetown arrested on suspicion of assault is released on bail pending further enquiries.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
- A 37-year-old man from Adamsdown arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, assault and robbery remains in police custody.
- A 19-year-old man from Grangetown arrested on suspicion of assault is released on bail pending further enquiries.
The car involved is described as a grey Volkwagen Golf. The e-bike was missing from the scene when police arrived.
