Taylor Wimpey South Wales has launched a community chest competition in Cowbridge, offering a local good cause the opportunity to receive a £1000 donation.
The housebuilder, which has been selling homes in Cowbridge over the past eight years, is inviting people living in and around Cowbridge to nominate local groups, organisations or individuals they think are most deserving of a helping hand and extra boost.
Taylor Wimpey South Wales is asking residents to submit their suggestions by emailing the name of the nominee, along with a brief description of why they have been nominated, to [email protected].
All nominations must be received by midnight on Tuesday 22nd September 2026. Taylor Wimpey will then select one recipient to receive the £1000 donation.

“After working with a number of worthwhile causes in Cowbridge , we are so pleased to be able to continue our contribution with this competition. We look forward to receiving everyone’s nominations and ask if you know of a worthy cause in your area to please nominate them.”
Clare Garden Village is currently building its third phase, made up of 61 three-, four- and five-bedroom homes. The market town of Cowbridge was named “Best place to live in Wales” by the Sunday Times, and is surrounded by independent shops, restaurants and high street amenities close to the development.
