A new four-day beer festival is coming to Swansea this November, bringing together more than 35 independent Welsh breweries and over 150 beers.
Indie Beer Fest Wales 2026 will take place at Down By Here Swansea from Thursday 19 November to Sunday 22 November, celebrating Wales’s growing independent brewing scene.
Organisers say Wales is currently the only part of the UK seeing growth in its number of breweries, with the festival designed to showcase the range of independent producers operating across the country.
More than 150 beers will be available across cask and keg during the event, alongside live music during the evening sessions.
SIBA Regional Director Lee Ralph said: “Right now, Wales stands alone as the only part of the UK where the brewing scene is actually growing.
“That is a massive achievement. Let’s raise a glass to it. Get behind the independent brewers putting their passion into every single pint. We don’t do mass-produced here, and neither should you.
“Keep drinking local, keep supporting independent craft beer, and let’s keep this Welsh scene thriving!”
All of the breweries taking part are independently owned, with no multinational-owned brands or global conglomerates represented.
Many are family-run Welsh businesses using local ingredients, with the festival aiming to encourage drinkers to support breweries based closer to home.
Organisers said: “When you buy a pint at this festival, you are directly supporting the Welsh independent brewing scene and Welsh economy.”
The festival is being organised by Welsh Breweries from SIBA, the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates, alongside Down By Here Swansea.
It follows the success of the first festival in Haverfordwest and will bring breweries ranging from Champion Beer of Britain winners to smaller producers that have grown from garage start-ups into businesses supplying customers across the country.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet some of the people behind the breweries, learn more about their beers and sample more than 150 different products during the four-day event.
The festival will also feature a dedicated trade session on Thursday for people working in pubs, bars and the wider hospitality industry.
Every ticket includes a branded pint glass and a beer token to get visitors started.
Indie Beer Fest Wales 2026 takes place at Down By Here, 210 High Street, Swansea, SA1 1PE, from Thursday 19 November until Sunday 22 November 2026.
