GRAMMY Award-nominated and chart-topping artist Alex Warren is heading to Cardiff for a major outdoor show next summer.
The multi-platinum artist will headline Blackweir Fields on Sunday, June 20, as part of his Finding (More) Family On The Road world tour.
Cardiff will kick off a run of seven UK and Ireland dates for Warren, who has become one of pop music’s biggest new global stars following the phenomenal success of his hit Ordinary.
Fans can sign up for Thursday’s pre-sale, with tickets going on general sale at 10am on Friday, October 2 through Blackweir Live and Ticketmaster.
The announcement follows another major year for Warren, who released his second album, WILDCHILD, in August.
The deeply personal record looks back at his childhood, his parents and the experiences that shaped him, while developing his pop sound in new directions.
The album includes Nile Rodgers on Emerald Eyes and John Mayer on its closing title track.
WILDCHILD topped the charts in several countries, including the UK and US, following the success of Ordinary.
The 7x-Platinum single spent 10 weeks at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 and 13 weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart, becoming the top-selling song of 2025.
Warren’s catalogue has now generated more than 11 billion streams, while his debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, reached the Top 5 of the Billboard 200.
His success has also translated to live performances, with Warren headlining sold-out arena tours around the world.
He has appeared on the GRAMMY Awards, MTV VMAs and American Music Awards, as well as performing at major festivals.
His Cardiff show adds another major name to the growing list of artists to have performed or announced shows at Blackweir.
Since launching in 2025, the outdoor venue has welcomed headline performances from The Cure, Lewis Capaldi, Pitbull, Teddy Swims, Stevie Wonder, Alanis Morissette, Noah Kahan and Slayer.
Irish rockers Fontaines DC have also been confirmed to headline Blackweir next summer, supported by Little Simz and Viagra Boys.
The Blackweir events are presented through a partnership between DEPOT Live, the live-events arm of Cardiff music venue DEPOT, and UK promoters Cuffe and Taylor.
Nick Saunders, founder of DEPOT Live said: “Alex Warren is the artist of the moment, so I am delighted we have secured a date with him here in Cardiff. He’s only playing seven dates across the entire UK and Ireland so this will be a very special night for not just Cardiff, but Wales too.”
