    Driver named in Crack Hill Collision

    South Wales Police has confirmed that the driver of the vehicle involved in a collision near Crack Hill, Bridgend around midnight on April 30 has since died of his injuries.

    Thomas Callard-Williams

    He has been named as 26-year-old Thomas Callard-Williams.

    His family are currently being supported during this time by a specially trained family liaison officer and have issued the following statement;

    “Thomas Gregory Callard-Williams was a wonderful young man who was loved by all that he encountered during his life.

    “All of Thomas’ family and friends take great comfort in the knowledge that his final conscious action was to use his arms to try and protect his passenger, and limit any harm to her. He was a gentleman to the very end. This was our son and brother.”

    Police continue to appeal for any witnesses, or have any drivers that may have dash-cam footage anyone with information should contact us via 101 quoting occurrence number 1900153216.
