South Wales Police are appealing for information and sighting of Taha Deria who has been reported missing.
The 32-year-old, who is vulnerable due to his mental health, was last seen leaving his family home in Penarth Road, Grangetown, sometime between 10.30am and 11.30am on Thursday, June 6.
Taha, who lives with his parents and siblings, left without any money, medication, mobile phone or any other belongings.
Specialist search teams have been checking CCTV, the river banks, and alleyways in and around the Grangetown area for anything which might help locate him.
Officers are now appealing for residents and companies in the Penarth Road area to check their own CCTV for any sighting of Taha.
Detective Constable Seline Ludvigsen, from Cardiff Bay Police Station, said: “We are getting increasingly concerned about Taha. He is vulnerable and this is a very worrying for his family.
“We would appeal for anyone who has private CCTV to please check their cameras from around 10.30am last Thursday and for anyone else who has seen him to please contact us.”
Taha is described has having a distinctive walk – he walks quickly while swinging his left arm – and is known to talk to himself.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jogging bottoms and Adidas sliders.
