A cold start to May for Wales this week, with warmer spells predicted for the May Bank Holiday weekend.

So, we might not be seeing the high pressure and warm weather that the UK saw at the start of April, but warmer weather is predicted for next weekend (5th – 7th May 2018).

If there is one person that we can rely upon to deliver the weather forecasts, it’s surely Derek the Weatherman.

Cold start to the week with lows of 2°C

Cold out there this morning. Minus 2°C in Bala with a frost but at least it's dry.

Sunday and Monday are the best days to head outdoors

    #Wales bank holiday weekend:

Low cloud & mist in the south and west on Saturday with spots of drizzle.

Otherwise dry, settled and warmer with high pressure.

Some fine sunny spells on Sunday Monday.

Some coasts cooler with a breeze off the sea.

Whatever the weather, we can’t fault an extra day off from work…
